Comprehensive Financial Plan (Initial Advice)

The first step in your advice journey is to establish a financial plan. My Super Future offers comprehensive financial advice covering a range of topics such as:

  • Wealth Creation
  • Wealth Protection
  • Salary Packaging
  • Superannuation
  • Transition to Retirement
  • Retirement Planning
  • Social Security
  • Estate Planning.

Initial advice generally requires two face-to-face appointments. The first appointment is used to gather the relevant information to prepare the advice (financial plan) and the second appointment is used to explain the advice and to assist with implementation.

Partnership Program (Ongoing Advice)

To be truly effective, your financial plan must be a living document and it is important that it is reviewed and adjusted to reflect changes in your personal circumstances or changes to the external environment (such as new legislation or movements in financial markets).

After receiving initial advice, we encourage our clients to join our Partnership Program which is designed to help you stay on track to achieve your financial goals and includes the following services:

  • An annual face to face planning meeting to review your financial plan
  • Adjustments to your financial plan and further advice where necessary
  • Ongoing access to your adviser via phone or email
  • Partnering with your other advisers such as lawyers and accountants
  • Communication with you throughout the year including quarterly email updates and an annual client briefing.

Process

Fees

At My Super Future, initial appointments are at our cost and obligation free. We operate on a ‘Fee for Service’ basis and we will quote you a fee before we commence any work for you. The fee quoted will depend on the complexity of work involved.

All fees can be paid directly by you or in some cases collected through your product issuer. Fees are charged before or on the delivery of your advice or service. Ongoing advice through our Partnership Program is a flat annual fee charged on a monthly basis.

Our Financial Planners receive a fixed salary with no bonuses payable for any product or performance related sales targets.

We are fiduciaries, meaning we always put client interests first.

Cost

My Super Future operates on a fee-for-service model. The cost depends on the complexity of your situation and scope of advice. We provide quotes upfront so you know what to expect. There is no charge for initial consultations. Ongoing advice is available through our Partnership Program for a monthly fee. We do not earn commissions or bonuses based on products recommended.
